O Projeto Pedalando com o Rotary nasceu de uma parceria com a 1\u00aa Delegacia de Pol\u00edcia, Poder Judici\u00e1rio e o Rotary Club de Os\u00f3rio. Trata-se do aproveitamento de bicicletas que estavam apreendidas no p\u00e1tio da DP e que estavam virando sucata devido a intemperie. Tendo em vista que essas bicicletas n\u00e3o foram reclamadas por seu propriet\u00e1rios e j\u00e1 ocupavam muito espa\u00e7o naquele \u00f3rg\u00e3o policial, o Delegado Jo\u00e3o Herique Gomes, solicitou ao Poder Judici\u00e1rio a doa\u00e7\u00e3o das mesmas ao Rotary Club de Os\u00f3rio o qual transformaria em bicicletas prontas para o uso novamente. Sensivel ao objetivo do projeto, o Poder Judici\u00e1rio local concedeu a autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o e com ela em m\u00e3os o, ent\u00e3o, presidente do RC de Os\u00f3rio, Doglemar Barboza Brum, recolheu em torno de 60 bicicletas, com as quais, atrav\u00e9s do esfor\u00e7o dos companheiros do clube e de colaboradores, foi poss\u00edvel reciclar e montar 10 bicicletas em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de uso, pintadas e adesivadas.
Devido ao sucesso deste projeto que, al\u00e9m de esvaziar o p\u00e1tio das Delegacias, ainda beneficia entidades sociais, o Rotary Club de Os\u00f3rio j\u00e1 pensa em novos projetos semelhantes no munic\u00edpio e expandir para outras regi\u00f5es, sempre contando com a compreens\u00e3o e sensibildade das autoridades envolvidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
